Centro de Dislexia de Costa Rica (Dyslexia Center of Costa Rica) – Dyslexia & Learning Difficulty Associations and Organization

The Dyslexia Center of Costa Rica began its informal activities in 2008 and was incorporated in 2009 as a non-profit foundation under Costa Rican law, under the name Fundacion Costarricense de Dislexia, by pediatrician, Dr. Beth Jo Berkowitz. Our membership consists of educators, psychologists, physicians, speech pathologists and families, and is located in the San Jose metropolitan area, the capital of Costa Rica. Our mission is to TEACH dyslexic individuals, their families, the public, our government and each other about the latest research and evidence-based methodologies for helping children and adults to overcome dyslexia so that they can achieve their full potential.
