Yesterday I gave you 19 instructions for your teacher.
Today I want to know who is/was your favourite teacher and why?
You see not all teachers are created equal.
Some are just better at teaching kids who learn differently.
Everyone has a favourite teacher. Mine was Mrs Grabowski. She was my Year 9 Math teacher and she helped me to achieve my first and only ever ‘A’ in Math.
I’ll never forget her.
When I didn’t understand a concept or was slower than everyone else to grasp it, which was pretty much most of the time, she would amble on over and explain it to me over and over again in different ways, until I got it. Mrs Graboski was a legend.
Who is your favourite teacher?
I am looking for answers from our parents, our teachers and the children too.
Who was your best ever teacher and why?
What did they do that made a huge difference in your school year?
I want to know:
- What they taught?
- What they did specifically to help you?
- What that meant for you as a student?
I’ll be sharing your answers with our whole community.
Let’s get all teachers thinking outside the square.
Your responses will help us to do that.
Let’s get 2019 off to a fabulous and positive start.
Warm regards,
Liz Dunoon
